South Loch Ness Trail






A straight forward walk along high exposed terrain. A good cross section of conditions including riverside and woodland. The leg from Whitebridge to Foyers has some quite muddy sections, suitable footwear is required. Walk begins just outside Fort Augustus at Loch Tarff.

A wonderful day out at the sandy cove of Gairloch beach. A beautiful drive there from the Aonach Mor Apartments (around 2.5 hours) and well worth it.

Beautiful Dunrobin Castle, just a two hour drive from the Aonach Mor Apartments and with its falconry display, superb museum and fairytale castle, well worth a visit.
